All families in Urban Farm to Kitchen are invited to learn about our program, taste some delectable breakfast treats at our partner site, Eastie Farm, and be a part of our growing community!
Healthy Kids Day

Join us at the East Boston YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day®! Stop by the East Boston YMCA from 10:00am-12:00pm for lots of FREE activities!
This year, Urban Farm to Kitchen kiddos will take part in a "FOOD WASTE CHALLENGE!" In the week leading up to Healthy Kids Day, we'll divert uneaten food to our kitchens. Kids will be challenged to create and test recipes with their ingredients! We'll offer fresh juice at Healthy Kids Day, made with our recovered carrots, apples, and more.
